Join our intermediate sewing class Thursdays from 4:45-5:30pm. In this class, students will continue to build skills in both hand and machine sewing while working on more complex designs that require combing many skills including pattern making, lining, different stitch styles, etc… A prerequisite for this class is knowledge of machines including ability to thread both aspects of a sewing machine. All fabric included unless student would like to bring in something specific for a project.
Semester begins January 29th and runs through May 7th. There will be no class the week of Spring Break and we also follow DISD’s closing schedule for holidays and inclement weather.
The semester will culminate with an art show in May, save the date to be sent out further into the semester.
All classes take place in the Art Room at Greenland Hills United Methodist Church (West side on Bremen St. Upstairs room)
