Stitch, create, and design! In this 45-minute class, held once a week, young makers will learn the basics of both hand sewing and machine sewing while building confidence one stitch at a time.
**This class is perfect for any students who have already completed a semester or two of sewing with me and already know how to work the sewing machine with minimal assistance!
This semester, we'll become fashion designers as we create wearable projects that are as fun to make as they are to show off! Students will learn essential sewing skills, practice working with patterns and fabrics, and discover how to safely use a sewing machine while bringing their creative ideas to life.
Whether they're brand new to sewing or already love crafting, students will leave each class with new skills, growing confidence, and handmade creations they'll be proud to wear. No experience is necessary!
DETAILS:
Semester will run September 1- December 11th 2026
Classes are 45 minutes once per week and held at Greenland Hills United Methodist Church in the upstairs art room! (more details before semester begins)
****Students will be asked to bring in 3 yards of COTTON fabric that they’d like to work with over the course of the semester for various projects! If you’d prefer, you can choose to purchase the FABRIC ADD ON and I will purchase the fabric for them prior to class starting.
